Dolores Huerta was a motivating, courageous figure in the labor movement, paving the way for thousands of workers by creating a more just system of economic justice and opportunity.

I toured the King County Wastewater Treatment Plant, where an average of 90M gallons of wastewater is treated daily, serving communities in Auburn, Bellevue, Kent, and Renton. I continue to support federal funds to support their services and supply the best equipment possible for Washington.

I stopped by New Frontier Aerospace in Kent to see their work to build rocket engines, spacecraft, and aircraft. Their use of 3D-printed and renewably fueled engines uniquely positions Washington as a leader in space technology, and I look forward to seeing the growth they bring in King County.

Thanks to TMobile for giving me a tour of their Cybersecurity Center in Bellevue. The Ninth District is proud to have a strong employer and resource embedded in our community, and look forward to the new advancements that we will see in Washington.
